About this listen

Dustin Bridge's world is about speed. About the edge. His life has been carved by cutting corners and making moves, following impulsive decisions while weighing the facts at hand.

On the track, that has never steered him wrong.

In life, though? That's another story.

On the cusp of greatness, the world's up-and-coming racing star seems to be living the perfect story. A hero to his hometown. A partner to his best friend. A man poised to take the throne, to become the greatest, and to reap the rewards and attention that come along with it.

He's been branded the track's most eligible bachelor. And rarely does he cross a finish line without a dozen screaming, adoring women brandishing his name on glitter-covered T-shirts across their chests, just hoping he'll break his own rules and take one of them to bed.

But he won't. As loose as Dustin may be on the road, he's become disciplined in life. He let love in completely—once. For one person. Hannah Judge. And she wrecked him.

And now, she's back.

Great conclusion to the series!

I really enjoyed this one! It picks up about 3 years after the last one ended and we get to see the aftermath again of the split and danger that Dustin and Hannah are dealing with. Hannah has left to follow her dreams and she was pregnant and now has a 2 year old and has kept the identity of the father a secret all this time. She has created distance with her parents and everything in order to protect her daughter from danger that has been implied and that she hasn't told anyone else about. This time around Dustin has stayed in the hometown and regrown his relationships with the Judge's while Hannah has been gone. She comes home for Thanksgiving and it is really the first time they have seen each other since the blowout and Hannah left 3 years ago. They have truths that need to come out and obstacles they need to overcome. I really enjoyed seeing Dustin and Hannah get another chance. They still have that magnetism between them, that soul deep connection that can't be denied. They have to find a way to overcome the obstacles in front of them and way through the hurt that has been caused, both in their control and out of it. This story was well written and I loved getting to see them finally overcome all the obstacles in front of them and becoming a united front and getting their happy ending this time. They had lots to work through and it was great getting to see them finally do so.
The narrators did a good job bring the story to life and easy to listen to.
