Publisher's summary

The Salem Witch Trials never truly ended...

Eleanor O’Reilly came into her magic on her seventeenth birthday; the problem was, no one ever told her she was a witch. Now, Eleanor must come to terms with her new identity, maintaining the guise of a student at Griggs Academy while studying grimoires in the evening by candlelight. But when fellow witches from her Salem coven go missing, it's up to Eleanor and her feline familiar to find out who is responsible before another witch disappears, or worse.

Burned is a thrilling tale of wit, whimsy, and witchcraft that will grip you from beginning to end as you master the five branches of magic, experience a romance written in the stars, and unveil a plot going all the way back to the Salem Witch Trials of 1692.

Great book, horrible audiobook narrator.

This book is amazing. I’m absolutely loving the story so far. Just what I was looking for. However the narrator is so hard to listen to. She sounds like AI. She has an accent randomly and she reads horribly. She never gets the tone right. The voices of the characters don’t fit. I love listening to audiobooks, and have never had a problem. But she totally missed the assignment. I’m so distracted by her terrible reading. It’s a shame because when I’m busy and I want to listen instead of read, it’s so annoying. Again, I love the Author and the very fulfilling story!!

Super awesome!

It's a great story and a great imaginative world. Modern day witches with references to historical witches is a fresh creative outlook on this topic!
