Publisher's summary

Many listeners have said this is the first audiobook to listen to on the subject of starting and running your new business. The audiobook starts with you. Is entrepreneurship for you? It states the risks of starting a business for you personally and whether your temperament is suitable for the task. The author states that some of the most productive results have been people learning that entrepreneurship is not suitable for them. What is easily started is not so simply ended. The audiobook goes through the steps of running a business, emphasizing that you should not get ahead of yourself in making larger plans than are suitable for your new venture's size. This Audiobook is based on the long time best seller from Macmillan and Ballantine, The Entrepreneur's Guide.

Learn what it takes to start your own business and launch your dream in 60 minutes of conversation and instruction.

Good... It Could Been Better...

This is one of those audio books not easy to rate.
The content was OK... I personally found it a bit vague. It could have been more elaborate.
More could have been covered on this subject.
I will rate it a tree star.

Some Good advice, though all is not true

I really liked a lot of advice given here, but there was some things like "pick a good name" where he says he wouldn't take a name like "Yahoo" seriously, that just doesn't fly in the age we're in. Think "Google" "Facebook", "YouTube" some of the largest companies have weird but very unique and brand specific names. So that I wouldn't agree with. There were other things too that don't apply in this age, but overall good advice. I like that he mentions outsourcing quite a bit and using contractors and if you decide to do that with a U.S. based company "Virtual Work Team" is the company to go with!
