Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
The book of Enoch was thought to be lost for over 2,000 years until, in 1773, a traveller brought three copies back from Ethiopia. Whether or not this ancient book was actually authored by Enoch, the father of Methuselah and great-grandfather of Noah, is an ongoing debate among historians and theologians. But all recognise the book of Enoch as one of the most important apocalyptic works outside of the Bible.

Story
Just before Christmas in 1843, a debt-ridden and dispirited Charles Dickens wrote a small book he hoped would keep his creditors at bay. His publisher turned it down, so Dickens used what little money he had to put out A Christmas Carol himself. He worried it might be the end of his career as a novelist. The book immediately caused a sensation. And it breathed new life into a holiday that had fallen into disfavor, undermined by lingering Puritanism and the cold modernity of the Industrial Revolution.

Sermons are to short
The messages was very good they were very short is well. Do more like it serves from messages as opposed to the whole sermons I wish you had put whole sermons it would be much better. C.H. Spurgeon was a dynamic preacher I love the series except for this one exception the messages were too short.

Spurgeon Satisfies, Narrator Nails it!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Absolutely!!! Spurgeon's writings and his worship of his Lord Jesus will almost make you weep for the joy of what Christ Jesus has accomplished! Christopher Glyn is a superb narrator and when listening to him -- I imagine that's what Spurgeon sounded like. Glyn's passion for his Lord is stunning as well.
What other book might you compare C. H. Spurgeon Devotions from the Gospels to and why?
Spurgeon's Devotions from The Song of Songs, and The Historical Books-- just wonderful, all of them!
Which scene was your favorite?
Since this is not fiction, the whole thing was a joy!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, actually I listen to it at night before bed, and eventually fall asleep with devotions to Jesus as the last thing I hear!
Any additional comments?
Charles Spurgeon and Christopher Glyn make a superb team -- and I highly recommend this and the other devotions by Spurgeon with Glyn as the narrator.
