Short and to the point stories
What was there was good, but I felt like it was missing a lot. I would go to okay, now I'm really getting into this book to wait! What? It's over? It just got to the ending way too fast, no real build up. It was a bit disappointing.

Southern Biddy chic flic
the narrator does a delightfully ludicrous exaggerated southern accent, partidularly for the loathmsome matriarchtypal bitch who makes everyone's lives miserable becasue of her hpercritical tastew and jjudments of everyone else, even her own nepherw, the heartthrob.

cute mysteries
An entertaining set of short mysteries. I agree with the old lady about Tara's possible love interest. Each story was enjoyable and I didn't guess who done it. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

Great Boxed Set!

This is a great boxed set; this is set includes books 1-3 in the Caesars Creek Cozy Mystery series written by Constance Barker and narrated by Angel Clark. This book can be listened to in one sitting if you have the time, once I started listening to it I didn’t want to put it down until the end. In this boxed set we follow Tara, Stormi and the rest of the gang and they find themselves involved in murder and mayhem.
The narrator Angel Clark did a great job with this book. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to in one sitting and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end.
If you are looking for a fun cozy mystery with great characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

Fun and easy
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
I received the boxed set that has books 1-3. While the story line is predictable, i.e. divorced and single woman starting new in a small town, typically their home town, she also owns some sort of “food” shop. Said character also had at least 2 other good friends that help and also join in on the investigating. The mysteries are intriguing. I don’t think there will ever be a shortage of motives which is always why these cozy mystery series are soo much fun to read.
If you like easy going reading and relaxing these are books for you. I want to read the rest of the series just soo I can see what happens to the characters.

Excellent
FROZEN SCOOP OF MURDER
New owner of an ice cream parlor Tara, her friends, some quirky friends. In this beginning series, with a lot of mayhem and murder.
This was my favorite. Enjoyable series.
Good narration brought this book to life, and good plot
