About this listen

Elizabeth Doyle Carey pens an engaging story of the four Callahan cousins, Neeve, Hillary, Kate, and Phoebe, as they continue their summer vacation with their grandmother on beautiful Gull Island, Ireland. Grandmother Gee honors them with the privilege of taking over the Dorm, a stable that was converted into a guesthouse many years ago and needs redecorating. But before they move in, old family secrets need to be swept out of those closets. This wholesome series has been favorably compared to

The Nancy Drew Notebooks and American Girl.

Review from an 11yr old and her brother, 9yrs old

The Callahan stories are really good. Each story has a moral at the end, and a really sensible way of putting it together. The characters are all likeable and the girls always seem to find themselves in some sort of trouble. Start with the first one and listen to them all, you will grow with them! Good for boys and girls!
