Mindfulness is free. Stress costs
Kent Jameson has done a great job of combining classic and ancient mindfulness techniques (living in the present moment, etc) with modern CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) techniques that hit the nail on the head when one falls out of mindful alignment (which, lets face it, is going to be quite often for the majority of us). There is even exploration into natural remedies and even sound therapy which makes this book a pretty solid overarching view on taking one’s health and wellness into one’s own hands. This would make for a powerful primer to anyone new on the subject of alternative wellness and bypassing the busy, anxious mind.

Very informative
This book is a good source of information when it comes to anxiety and stress management. It covers everything from understanding what anxiety really is to several different types of techniques to try to help manage and cope with it. There’s also an interesting chapter on alternative therapies that I found very interesting. Whether it’s you or someone you know who struggles with anxiety or stress management, this book would be very helpful in their journey of self help.

Awesome Resource for anxiety
I loved this audiobook for its comprehensive overview of a variety of techniques and strategies to conquer anxiety and stress. I particularly liked the section on alternative remedies and therapies, that was really helpful, will be trying some of those new strategies!

much needed pause
I’ve been feeling mentally drained lately, trying to keep up with work, school, and my small business. Even during the holidays, I felt restless worrying about the things I could be doing, even when I should be resting. This audiobook has helped me manage my anxiety. We're so used to living in a fast paced world that we often forget to rest, and personally, when I do take time off, it would cause me anxiety since were so used to being overworked. However, the author does a great job of breaking down ways to manage anxiety in our fast-paced world. This audiobook offered me some peace and perspective, and I definitely recommend it to anyone who’s struggling to find calm in the middle of chaos.
