About this listen

In Cape Odd, historians Jim Coogan and Jack Sheedy bring to light some of the more unusual and overlooked stories about Cape Cod. This is the fourth collaboration between the popular award winning authors and from dusty archives, old newspapers, and personal interviews, the two have complied a record of curious events, happenings, and people, that if they were not odd in the very narrow sense of the word, were certainly out of the ordinary. From the Barnstable sea captain who kept Siamese twins in his woodshed and the Sandwich man who taught dancing to King George V and Queen Mary of England, to the well-heeled and eccentric Falmouth family that made a practice of weighing their guests before feeding them, Cape Cod, as you will find, is a never ending source of strange and unusual tales. Great book! So so narration.

The book was fantastic. I love how the authors approached the concept of having interesting bits, pieces, and experts by making it one piece (and 4hrs of fun and educational entertainment).
The narration is okay, but just okay. The virtual voice have some pronunciation challenges. Better than no audio format at all though.
