Empowering Teens to Plan their Future

I love that this book's focus is on self-discovery instead of "everyone needs to go to college." Many high school graduates would not benefit from college. This book encourages them to find their strengths, be resilient, and be open to new challenges. I liked the examples and the encouraging words offered to the young adults.

Helpful info here!

My daughter is in a learning stage where she is looking at a lot of different options for her future. Teen life and career planning is a complex thing and can have so much pressure on it. This touched on a lot of aspects teens can use in their review and decision-making process. Great listen!

This book is like having a career mentor

Everyone needs this information when starting out in adult life. It is a shame that it is not required reading in schools as all students can benefit from this type of advice. Having this book is like having a career mentor who can help you see your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and traps to avoid. It provides easy to follow guidance through the phases of preparation needed to identify a great career path and prepare properly for it. The world would be a better place if more people would read this.
