Another entertaining Corgi Case Files mystery

Why is someone breaking into grocery stores across Oregon to steal cranberries right before Thanksgiving? The Corgis are on the job, and how they manage to link the perp to a crime from a Washington state astronomical observatory is a hoot! this is one of my favorite CCF audiobooks- the mystery is more complex than usual and the Corgis are, as always, adorable and funny as snot (from the book, lest you think I'm being uncouth).

Bob Johnson's narration is spot on. I like his cadence and inflections. Not your everyday narrator, for sure!

Don't miss the Case of the Great Cranberry Caper.

Great holiday read

Oh, how I love this series and this is book 11. Sherlock and Watson are at it again solving the impossible cases. This book is just in time for the holiday reading and it is a fun read. Our narrator is again Bob Johnson and as always he does an excellent job of creating the scene for the caper. This book was just the story I needed to get my Thanksgiving shopping and cooking going. Can't wait for my adventures with Zac and his lovely dogs.

Too much fun!

Corgis, cozy-mystery, investigation, amateur-sleuth, law-enforcement, gamers, dogs, theft, family, small-business, small-town, winery, winter, friendship, situational-humor, verbal-humor, red-herrings, relationships*****

Cases of cranberries stolen from grocery stores! No fresh or frozen cranberries available for Thanksgiving!
If you've never met these two fun and furry crime solvers (Mr Sherlock and Ms Watson) and their widowed humans, you're missing a lot of fun! All of the characters certainly are, and the sleuthing is well done. This time winery owner Zack and his friend, local police detective Vance, take the Corgis and go to several crime scenes where all those cranberries have gone missing. Zack's fiancee Jillian, owner of The Cookbook Nook, is planning Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas decorations, and the wedding, while keeping a hand in the investigation. And those Corgis just keep leading their humans by the nose til they get it right!
Loved it! Easily a stand alone, but why?.
Bob Johnson aces the narration with just the right touch that highlights the humor by downplaying the guffaws.
I won this audio in a giveaway! Yay me!

Who's Stealing Thanksgiving?

Mystery, laughs and geeky sleuthing abound when the local supply of cranberries disappears from local stores just before Thanksgiving and Zack and his Corgis are called upon to figure out who's stealing the holiday goodies.
I've loved all of the Sherlock and Watson stories and this one is is a little lighter than some, full of holiday cheer and a heist that goes way beyond little red berries but there are no thugs and no dead bodies, just a series of local grocery store thefts with a single, but not obvious, link between them
Good reading featuring my favourite literary canines.

Another brilliant mystery!

I always enjoy these books. Corgis solving cases... what's not to love? This isn't your average scooby-doo tale, and in fact, it's not your typical Corgi Case File. A mystery without a murder was a bit of a fresh take that I enjoyed. I hope Mr. Poole continues to mix it up! So... what are all the cranberries missing? Tune in to find out!

As always, Bob Johnson does a brilliant job with the audio book narration. He truly is the perfect voice for this series!

Get your stuffing ready, find some cranberries before they all run out, and get ready to enjoy quite the Thanksgiving adventure!
