About this listen

Brought to you by Penguin.

If you had the power to change the past. . . where would you start?

Cassie has never really fit in. She remembers everything. Understands nothing. And consistently says the wrong thing.

So when she gets dumped, fired AND her local café runs out of banana muffins - all in one day - it feels like the end of the world.

But then Cassie discovers she has the power to go back and change things.

With endless chances to get it right, can she stop it all from going wrong?

Critic reviews

'Cassandra Dankworth is one of the most compulsively readable protagonists in contemporary fiction. This is a truly original novel, a war cry for you to be you and for me to be me. I loved it.' (Laura Jane Williams)
'Cassandra Dankworth is a character as unique as she is endearing ... An absolute gem of a novel' (Margarita Monitmore)

I got pulled into this from the sample and I enjoyed the concept and the main character. There was a bit art near the middle where Cassandra’s constant rewinding for that specific person got quite tiresome, but once i was past that, it landed so beautifully. I really enjoyed this, even that bittersweet ending.
