Publisher's summary

He says he saved her. So why won’t he let her go? Fiercely independent Catherine Alexander-Blair, Cat to her friends, doesn’t scare easily. But after the Celtic fiddler is attacked leaving a performance, she wakes terrified and tied to a gurney in a dungeon. With scant memory, sanity threatens to shatter when her handsome, silver-haired captor claims not only to have rescued her but to be an eight-hundred-year-old vampire. He insists he’s protecting her, but when her undead guardian demands her obedience, Cat defies him at her own peril. When her magical abilities start blossoming, learning to use them may offer a means to escape. Are Cat and her immortal captor destined for romance, or will a sinister secret take her life? “Cat’s Tale” is the first book in the sultry "21st Century Vampire Series". Be sure to catch “Cat’s Eyes” and “Cat’s First” to follow Cat and her cohorts in their ongoing adventures.

AI narration is bad

The story is one cliche after another and must have been written by AI too. I do not like AI narration, it’s so monotone and lifeless. I hope this is not the future of audiobooks in general.
