I got the French edition to read one of my favorite authors wile practicing my favorite foreign language.

Mr. Davy's narration is totally other worldly and peace inducing. This volume is so moving and wonderful, I found myself going back and taking notes all the time. Really fantastic.

As Wayne explains in my other favorite (among many) of his works, I Can See Clearly Now, he divided the 80 verses of the Tao into four day chunks to make a full year, gave all or most of his possessions away, and went to Hawaii to write.

He would mull over a verse for three days and then write a little essay about it and offer suggestions to its application in daily life. Then move on to the next.

The result is fascinating. It's really great to have some perspective on these verses as some of them are a bit obscure until you've grasped the meaning. Even then, the best of them remain paradoxical which is part of the depth.

Love this one and I look forward to listening to it many, many times.
