If you're looking for an audiobook that can genuinely make a difference in managing anxiety, depression, or just the stresses of everyday life, "Channeling Positive Energy to Overcome Anxiety & Depression" is a must-listen. This audiobook came to me at just the right time during a particularly stressful and painful family situation, and it provided the reassurance and guidance I needed.
The content is thoughtfully organized and presented by a gifted narrator in a way that resonates with me. I was particularly struck by the emphasis on self-compassion. I’m still learning to recognize that I am doing my best and that I am worthy of love. The idea of being more "present in the moment" has not only benefitted me but also improved my interactions with others.
While the section on medication did feel a bit lengthy, I understand its importance for those on anxiety or depression medications. My only wish was that the audiobook used more common medication names than the generic ones, but that’s a minor detail and can be addressed quickly with a quick search elsewhere.

This book is an excellent read for anyone who is suffering from Anxiety or depression. Anxiety and depression can become mentally and socially disabling. You can find yourself in so much despair that some who suffer from it feel the need to end their lives. This book is honest about the depths that anxiety and depression can bring you down to and is eternally optimistic about how to use positive energy to push away those anxiety and depression-induced feelings. Reading through this book was a reinforcement of a belief I have long held- that if you have positive energy and is always looking on the bright side of things and don't let everything affect you too much, you can overcome your depressionand anxiety.
