Break Free from the Struggle to Be Perfect
This audiobook resonated with me so much. It goes deep into the underlying patterns we may not observe, how trauma drives us towards perfection and accomplishment. I was able to find the path of healing without discarding everything that I've worked years to build. The Unmasking Matrix Framework was revolutionary, offering a framework for being authentic while holding on to accomplishment. If you've ever borne perfectionism and hidden pain, this audiobook is a must-have. It teaches you how to heal and create a future in which you can survive and grow emotionally and as a person, without losing yourself.

Helped Me Slow Down and Heal
I didn’t expect this book to hit home as much as it did. I’ve spent years brushing off old stuff from my childhood, thinking I’d already “dealt with it.” This made me realize I was still carrying way more than I thought. The strategies are simple, and I’ve actually stuck with them—especially the part about taking small steps without feeling guilty. If you’ve ever felt stuck but wanted to move forward, I’d recommend giving this a read.

Breaking free from the past - one step at a time
I've listened to plenty of self-help books, but this one stood out because it actually felt doable. It doesn't just talk about childhood trauma—it gives real steps to start untangling it. Some parts made me pause and reflect on patterns I didn’t even realize were still affecting me.
What I appreciated most was the focus on self-care without making it feel like another overwhelming to-do list. It’s practical, clear, and feels like a guide for moving forward rather than just dwelling on the past. If you're looking for something that helps you take action, this is a solid choice.

Solid Resource for Those with Trauma
Being a social worker, I am always looking for good resources for my clients, and this book is one of them. It gently has the listener dig deep in their own self and find the inner issues that are often suppressed so the person can make a positive change. The strategies are easy to understand and actionable, which will not overwhelm someone who is already struggling. I also found myself digging deep, looking at my perfectionism, and realizing that it may be from things I am suppressing. A good resource is one that helps those who are not looking for help! I highly recommend it!
