Driven by a desire to honor Gramps and a sense of adventure, Syl chose the latter... only to awaken as a lowly slime. A farmed slime. The life of a farmed slime was cruel. Syl was constantly at the mercy of humans, a slime whose only purpose was to eat and recycle garbage. The threat of lethal core-destroying knives wielded by innocent children was a constant shadow. This was not the life Syl had envisioned. So, they made a daring escape to the wilderness!

interesting world building
Well done! Stranger in a strange land with hidden origins and lots of Celtic tie ins. Very cool audio experience good work of voices for different characters and very successful singing sections. My Only negative point might be that it isn't a very crunchy litrpg and the elements that are added in are perhaps unnecessary?

Great beginning of a series, would recommend
I really enjoyed this entry to the genre. Not too heavy on the stats/game portion, and it really worked.
Good character development, the world felt fully fleshed out, and also felt fresh as I haven’t ran into too many stories set in the myths of the British Isles.
Would recommend this book whole heartedly

Celtic Isekai/Litrpg
A fun world brought to life by an amazing narrator. I have not come across Celtic Isekai before (and with LitRPG elements especially). The author takes their time with world building and goes light on the crunch. I highly recommend.

A great Celtic portal fantasy
If you’re a fan of Celtic myth, and you should be, this is a great exploration of it. Our hero ends up porting to the world where all the Celtic legends seem to be true, and he has a role to play in an ongoing struggle. it’s a terrific story, and it’s performed extremely well. It also hasgame lit elements, but not enough to distract you if that’s something you don’t like.

awesome celtic isekai
In the beginning had trouble realizing it was a celtic isekai based on mythology. As I haven't researched about too much, but once you get used to it the story is great and fun and the narrator did a great job too.
Definitely recommend if you have an interest in something new yet familiar story writing.

A great start…
Skivvy sauce! The story is a little bit different than other LitRPGs with its Celtic flare. The main character is snarky, which I like. I will definitely be getting the next one… And the words Skivvy sauce made me laugh…
