Melington has changed.

There is an evil lurking in the darkness, under the beds and behind closed doors. It seeks vengeance and retribution and will not be denied.

No one knows this more than Alan Carter. Returning to his hometown after a 20-year absence, he is resolute in uncovering the truth behind his sister’s abduction and the strange disappearance of children. Joined by his childhood friend, Alan finds himself thrown into the middle of a conspiracy led by the town council as it desperately tries to hide its secrets from the world.

No child is safe in Melington, and Alan Carter needs to stop the curse that has haunted his hometown for generations. But as Alan’s brushes with death become more frequent, he finds himself running out of luck.

Great Ghost Story

Very good tale of ghostly vengeance. Interesting characters, some to hate, some to cheer for. Part of a series, so you need to listen to them all!

A Great Horror Story

Alan Carter witnesses his sisters disappearance but no one believes him. All he could say was a hand reached out and took her. The storyline is well developed, the characters are well written and believable. Now you have his family moving away. He will come back 20 years later. The town has changed. This story starts slow, but it has a good plot. It is good on audible as it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Jake Urry does an excellant job with narration. I enjoyed this book.

Terrifyingly intriguing!

This book makes you realize your worst childhood fears! It makes you realize that the place that you thought was the safest when you were a child is definitely not! This book had me sitting on the edge of my seat pretty much from the beginning! I highly recommend it! Looking forward to the next!

Great story, keeps you guessing

I was a little confused at first. Which added to the mystery and suspense. Great read.
