Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

Short, innocent, fun, SWEET!
I really love the way it was narrated, the narrator definitely captured the fun loving feel that the short stories were supposed to carry. I also love with the stories have helpful morals snuck in here and there to learn for little kids. I feel like that’s really important for kids. So grateful for this book definitely one that I get to share with my son every night before bed. And very impressed With the quality of writing!

Cute bedtime stories
I love children’s books; they make all kids happy and enjoyable. When I see kids listening to this audiobook, they experience cherished moments as if they were real, and learn opportunistically. It also teaches kids many things that they can do when they grow up. The story shares the tale of a princess and the dragons fighting fire, which makes it enjoyable. I enjoy the narrator's voice and performance.

Night battles transformed to eager listeners
After weeks of my five and seven-year-old's elaborate bedtime delay tactics, I downloaded this audiobook in desperation. The transformation was immediate and almost magical!
They now race to brush their teeth to listen to "just one more story." The story's perfect length keeps them engaged without dragging on too long. What I appreciate most is how the stories spark their imagination—they often whisper their own versions to each other the next morning.
The narrator's soothing voice has them completely relaxed within minutes. This is the best purchase for our evening routine in years!

Magical Bedtime Moments!
Children’s Bedtime Stories Ages 4-8 has become a cherished part of our nightly routine. My kids adore the imaginative tales of dragons, unicorns, and adventures—each story is the perfect length to keep them engaged but calm before sleep.
Without pictures, they close their eyes and let their imaginations soar (no more begging to “see the book”!). The variety means there’s always a new favorite.
If you want to make bedtime peaceful and magical, this collection is a must!

My nephew loved this book
His mom told me he was completely captivated, hanging onto every word and asking for ‘just one more story,' which, to me, is the best sign of a great book. He was talking about it even after the audiobook was over. The narration was fantastic, making each story come alive in a way that kept him engaged from start to finish. If you're looking for something that kids will truly enjoy and want to hear again and again, this is a good one.

Sweet Dreams Every Night
Bedtime used to be chaotic in our house—lots of stalling, negotiating, and sometimes tears. Then we stumbled across this gem, and it changed our routine completely. My six-year-old now asks to get ready for bed so we can pick a story to listen to. The stories are short, which is perfect for our attention span, and they're imaginative without being overly stimulating. They help him wind down and spark some really sweet conversations afterward. We've even started re-listening to our favorites. It's become a cozy ritual we both enjoy.

Perfect for Our Bedtime Routine
We’ve been listening to this audiobook before bed, and my kids absolutely love it. The stories are just the right length to keep their attention without dragging on. The narrator has a warm, soothing voice that helps them wind down. It’s become part of our nightly routine, and they actually look forward to it. I also like that the stories feel age-appropriate and easy to follow. If you’ve got little ones, this is a great pick for calm, cozy evenings.

FUN AND CALMING STORIES FOR KIDS
Listened to this during bedtime with my little cousin and it was a total hit. The stories are the perfect length—not too long, not too short—and each one has a fun little twist or gentle lesson. Some made us giggle, others were sweet and relaxing, which really helped settle things down for the night. The narrator’s voice is soft and comforting, which sets the perfect sleepytime mood. If you’ve got kiddos in that 4-8 age range, this one’s a great pick for winding down together

Quickly became a favorite for my son!!
This audiobook has quickly become our favorite part of bedtime! I listened to it with my 7-year-old son, and he’s completely hooked. Every night, he actually looks forward to getting into bed so we can hear the next magical adventure — and let me tell you, that’s a big win in our house! Bedtime is always a chore - not anymore!! The stories are the perfect length for winding down, and I love that as an audiobook he can fully use his imagination (he's been acting out the dragon stories during the day!). It’s been such a sweet bonding moment for us, and I even find myself getting drawn into the tales. Whether it’s unicorns, dinosaurs, or brave little heroes, there’s something for every kid to love. Highly recommend for any parent who wants a smoother, more magical bedtime routine!
