Throughout the text, Paul shows us that true love has many facets and explains it in both positive and negative terms. He tells us our love for others is meant to be a mirror of Christ's love for us.

The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Why Am I Complaining?
Where does Christians in the Crucible of Pain rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I like Sermons and lectures so I really enjoyed this audiobook. I can also learn something new in the process.
Have you listened to any of Skip Heitzig’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, but I really liked this one.
Any additional comments?
Understanding that someone elses pain is much worse than mine helps me to see how blessed I am. Though we all have our own level of pain when it comes to being a Christian some are much worse that others and it must be true that God does not give us any more than we can handle because some of the people in the Bible has an excruciating amount of pain and still worshiped God.
