About this listen

Book 2- Part of a new trilogy found in the MacKenzie Women series, Circle of the Seasons follows Lenora Mackenzie, preschool teacher extraordinaire, as she reaches a crossroads with her life. Her papa, a dairy farmer, had drilled patience into her brain until Lenora became the poster child for waiting for good things to come to her. Long suffering and trusting, Lenora has devoted her entire adult life to raising her daughter as a single parent, but now that Victoria is grown, Lenora is ready to dust off her boogie shoes. The problem is: dating has changed in the last twenty years. What to do? Where to start? Join Lenora in her journey to find a man who will treat her like she deserves: Like a MacKenzie Woman.

I need to visit Eureka Springs

to be honest, this is my first Audible book. I have tried to read Peggy Kief Adams' other books about the Cousins, but something would not click. Then she suggested I try Audible. oh my goodness ! It clicked. I could not get enough. i love the sweet southern narrator (at times she sounded like Reba). I'm ready to pack my bags and visit Uncle Joe, Aunt Bea, and Geneva in Eureka Springs. I need to meet Hank, er Henry, and his Pitty Princess. The story was intriguing and who doesn't love a happy ending? I'll definitely be checking out more books about the MacKenzie Cousins. I highly recommend this series.

Familiar romance with heartwarming strength of character.

Lenora is the unlikely heroine I needed in my 2025. Adam's turns a story of "normal circumstances" and provides details and anecdotes that draw the reader to want a victory for their new friend. I laughed and cried but most of all throughly enjoyed my introduction to the MacKenzie women. To that I must say, I am elated to read other works by Adam's.
