About this listen
Are you a teacher or an academician? Do you have students you wish to understand as well as keep in order? Or do you want to be a better teacher altogether? Well, look no further, as this audiobook is just for you!
The author understands the struggles of teachers who are doing what they can to instill order and maintain control with their students, especially when they are in a state of total disorganization, with some obvious increasing level of chaos. This book introduces a few effective steps to understand how to tackle such situations and succeed in classroom management.
There has always been a certain phobia for why most self-help books are impractical, and one finds it hard to effectively apply all that they have been able to consume. This audiobook covers that. Be assured that every step and approach provided here are quite practical as well as effective.
Class management is about getting your students in a stable condition and an organized state, keeping them in order, getting them to achieve focus while paying attention, being active with respect to class tasks, and most importantly, to help achieve academic soundness and intellectual balance.
The book gives insight on what instructions are, when to pass them with knowledge of what instructional timeis, being able to handle nonverbal instructional acts such as giving polite andpositive group corrections,
Also it teaches general classroom management practice while highlightingthe ideal classroom behaviour and creating an avenue for you the teacher, toallow your students set their own guidelines.
It teaches these things:
- No punishment: Avoid it at all costs. The book shows better ways to handle students who behave bad.
- Success: As a teacher, especially for the elementary classes, learn how you can master the psychology of learning.
- Ethics: Learn how to promote initiative efforts, develop a praise technique, offer rewards, and teach morals right from how you live your life.
- Content and assessment: The book shows how to make your teaching content exciting, adopt marks to informal assessments, with strategies on how to manage a classroom for individual students.
- Edu-tech: It teaches how to use educational technologies to adjust each student, make use of peer teaching and study groups, and build up a positive association with your students.
The elements of being a great teacher are numerous but important and achievable. Because your students are a reflection of you, and in order to save you from having stressed days and a constant daily headache, you create a relationship between your students and themselves.

Technology is awesome. Teachers are better. Blending new technologies into instruction is a non-negotiable if we are to help our students gain the skills they'll need to thrive in careers. And so too is educators' old school wisdom in planning intentional blended learning that works. Too often, sincere enthusiasm for technologies pushes proven instructional strategies to the wayside, all but guaranteeing blended learning that is all show and no go. Bold School is an audiobook that restores teachers to their rightful place in effective instruction.

Story
In Ungifted, cognitive psychologist Scott Barry Kaufman - who was relegated to special education as a child - sets out to show that the way we interpret traditional metrics of intelligence is misguided. Kaufman explores the latest research in genetics and neuroscience, as well as evolutionary, developmental, social, positive, and cognitive psychology, to challenge the conventional wisdom about the childhood predictors of adult success. He reveals that there are many paths to greatness, and argues for a more holistic approach to achievement that takes into account each young person’s personal goals, individual psychology, and developmental trajectory.

Terrible writing and worse narrating
I bet that this came from a book written in a language other than English, then put through a google translator, then published and read by the robotic Kevin Tromp. I can think of no other explanation for the particular kind of awful this audiobook is. I'll be asking for my credit back for this one.

It doesn't seem the reader understands English
Terrible narrator. His reading distracts from content. The book may be great, but I will look for a different reader.

Narration is the worst I've ever heard
I can't get through the book because the narration is so awful. The pauses are so unnatural, as if the narrator was going to use the same pattern and pace with words be darned. Such as shame.
