Who knew decluttering could be so spicy?
I loved this book. I've had clutter of different kinds throughout my past, and this felt like an interesting read, especially since I'm always promoting the notion that "if it's good for couples, it must be good enough for throuples too!" ;-) I was pleasantly surprised to find that the greatest value in these pages wasn't in the mundane cleaning of our collective rooms, but in the communication advice ABOUT the clutter. Clutter might just as well be a metaphor for "that thing you and your partner(s) see differently so it nags at you just a little more every day"... Gotta find ways to talk about them without saying things we wish we hadn't, right? Meanwhile, the author is just having fun with this whole thing, and yeah... adding a little sexy spice where appropriate.

Struggling with your stuff?
Ever feel like you are drowning under the weight of the things around you but not sure how to start digging yourself out?
Who hasn’t?
Clutter and Couples author Colette Roy uses her depth of organizational knowledge, compassion and humor to make organizing your home an accessible goal.
I love that each chapter asks me thought provoking questions, and gives me bite sized projects to begin tackling my mess.
My greatest takeaway? Be more compassionate to yourself when it comes to organizing, the only person judging you is you, so stop already
