Yesterday is gone; Live in the presence.

The author writes about 2 teens with dreams of success. Each doing what it takes to succeed in their dreams, & then the game changer enters in... pregnancy. The girl goes back home for security to have her baby & the boy goes on to be a success. Ten years pass & he returns home to fragile relationships hoping to achieve the love of the girl he left behind. It's a good story, there are at least 5 main characters, who have an image of perfection in their heads & they expect the other person to live up to what was. That to me it is just a big wasted time staying in yester years, when I could change that pain & find freedom in the present day.

This is my 1st time listening to the author, I find her writing believable & have seen it happen many times. Patricia Floyd is one of my favorite narrators, she does an excellent job bring life into the characters & makes the story flow.
