About this listen

From the bestelling author of Mince Pies and Mistletoe at the Christmas Market and The Cherry Tree Café comes a glorious summer treat of glamping, vintage tearooms and love ...

When Lottie Foster’s grandmother’s best friend Gwen dies, she leaves Lottie her lovely home, Cuckoo Cottage.

Lottie loves the cottage but Matt, a charming local builder, points out that beneath its charm it is falling apart. Luckily he is always on hand to help with the problems that somehow seem to keep cropping up. But is he just a bit too good to be true? Certainly Will, Lottie’s closest neighbour, seems to think so.

Lottie plans to set up her own business renovating vintage caravans. She hasn’t told anyone about the project she has cooked up with Jemma from The Cherry Tree Café to repurpose Gwen’s old caravan and turn it into a gorgeous tearoom.

But before she can finally enjoy living with her legacy she must uncover who she can trust, and who to avoid. And with two men vying for her attention, will she also find love?

Though charming, it was a story of nefarious schemes mixed in with love. I so enjoyed the development of Lottie’s passion and dreams as well. New author for me, but will seek other books she’s written.

Nice, light listen. A bit frustrating at times when the main character took so long.to catch on , but overall a fun book.

I was completely frustrated with the main character again and again. She was worried about other gossiping, but was herself not discreet repeatedly. She seems to have a great support system and yet she listens to one cute guy without ever checking what he says (on important subjects) with anyone else. It was beyond annoying. It was silly.

Great message in this story and love this narrator. I appreciate this author and her not going so detailed in sexual so the story line is enjoyable

This book was soo frustrating to me, especially because the main character who didn’t want to trust anyone not even her friends, trusted a cute boy because he said he was friends with Gwen. If it looks and acts and quacks like a duck, it’s a duck. I didn’t even finish the story; every time I went to hear it, I could not get over her blindness. I was soo heated. Nope, I don’t recommend

This book is so frustrating! I don't understand why she made the main character, Lottie, a complete idiot. I understand the point but it keeps going through out the book.
