Get a general idea about various hardware and software components.

Improve their computer-related vocabulary.
This is NOT a good book for anyone who wants to:
Get an in-depth view of hardware and software components.
Take the CompTia exam and pass it by using nothing but this book.
The narrator reads very quickly, so you may have to use that button that slows down his voice to really grasp some of the concepts (and I generally prefer fast-talking narrators), but I gave him a five-star rating because his inflection kept me interested in the material.
It might also be worthwhile to point out that the narrator frequently refers to diagrams that you can't see that are apparently found within the printed material. I really didn't find this too obnoxious, because I already had a general idea of what he was referring to, but it might cause some frustration for other listeners.
All in all, this is a great, quick guide for learning about the various components of a computer, and I suppose it can be used as a mini-review (emphasis on mini) for the CompTia exam, just don't count on it as your only study guide.
Good, quick review
