Publisher's summary

My name is Tamsin Vale and I’m the last known fairy, fighting to find out what happened to all fairies and our world. But I’m running out of hope, and it has a lot to do with the four pieces of my soul I no longer have with me. Going through one breakup is terrible, but four in rapid succession is… More than one person can handle. I spent all summer fighting for fair folk, and fighting the councils, and fighting for the supes who need it, instead of taking a break. And I’m tired, mostly because I have so much trouble sleeping, missing the men I loved and didn’t want to admit I cared for. Still, I can’t quit, so I keep pushing on. That’s what it means to be an adult and have responsibilities. I’m not alone, and I have help pushing me to keep going, teaching me what I need, so we can win the fights we need to. I can… I really don’t think I can do this. Artemis University is an ongoing hot burning reverse harem, university-age paranormal academy series with darker elements, strong language, violence, and a heroine who follows her own moral compass of what is right… And who she ends up giving her heart to.

Intense but amazing

I was on edge the entire time I read this book, but definitely in a good way. I’d have loved a little more fluff, just to slow the book down, but sadly Tams doesn’t have any fluff in her life right now. Even the one scene that could’ve been - a cute night out - her horrid exes ruined that for her.

I was so excited for her to finally let Lucca in. I felt he had such a bad start, and I adore the fact that he’s now being given a chance. I love that she and Darby have made up - this was needed. He deserves to be let back in. I adore their joint scene... it was amazing.

I also greatly appreciated it that Craftsman has finally realised he messed up and that Tams didn’t immediately forgive him. Hopefully, now that he’s realised it, he’ll sort his issues out and earn his way back in her life.

Hudson... he’s my favourite, but I’m upset at him. He didn’t have a lot of screen time, but his speech near the end (despite Tams not appreciating it) helped me feel less hurt with him. He needs to get with the programme and fast. I miss River though and want more cute scenes with him.

Can we give some love to Mrs Von Thann?? I adore this woman. She’s amazing, and I’m so pleased she’s on the side. I loved the mom power when all the moms turned up at Tams’ enlightening event for the college students. It was wholesome and needed. The dragons have her back, and despite me still feeling a little salty with Mrs Vogel, I’m pleased she was there for Tams too.

Izzy and Mel were kinda background people in this book, IMO, so I want to see more of them.

The council. I hate every single one of them, and roll on the day Tams gives them the ultimate smackdown. I’m sick of them ruining people’s lives, and it’s starting to get super immature now. Get a grip guys, you’re meant to be leaders.

I adored seeing a more vulnerable side of Anya White, but I hate what it’s come to. Really hate it. She needs some strength sent her way, and I really hope something gives in her life.

Geiger. He’s amazing. Full on the best person. Super supportive. Super smart. Super powerful. Just can’t say more about this amazing dragon. He’s supportive and assists Tams - not trying to control her like some (Edelman...). His smart thinking with the new instructor should hopefully help. OPEN FAERIE AND FIX IT SO HE CAN BE HAPPY AGAIN. That's my only request. He needs some love, and I want his mate to come back for him.

Honestly, this was an amazing addition to the series, and Erin should be so proud of the amazingly intricate universe she’s created. I love it so much, and I can’t wait to find out what happens next. I love her writing style, her portrayal of the characters and just think she’s incredibly talented. Plus, she’s producing these books so quickly. Roll on book seven.
