Publisher's summary

We weren't supposed to be friends. We weren't even supposed to like each other. I'm Michael Grath. I'll admit I was elected to Congress on my Republican family history. I was out to make a name for myself, until I met Jessie Clark, a spitfire Democrat.

She'd be my nemesis, if I could just stop thinking about her. We've got nothing and everything in common, but our past divides us. She made one choice; I made another, and we can't reconcile the two because it's an issue that divides America as well. So like I said, we weren't supposed to be friends, we weren't even supposed to like each other, and we certainly weren't supposed to fall in love.

"My Esteemed Colleague"

I was a little hesitant on listening to this book as I had never read any of her works. I was just looking for something new and found a gem. The characters had whit, the story took a few political turns that really did reflect accurately for the characters, and of. ourse it had love. If you're looking for a great opposites attract, political drama, or a story that contains well written characters this is a must.

Wish Stephanie would read normal tone

The story was good. Male reader was awesome. Stephanie needs stoop sounding like a robot! She had read so many good books but her robotic tone RUINED it!!’ I’m really mad as a member. Please stop sounding like you are a robot!
