This book emphasizes the Indian migration in the Gulf and its realities in the context of social science perspective in the framework of time and space dimension. This book is a revised version of the submitted M. Phil dissertation titled “Nature, Causes and Consequences of Migration to Gulf Countries: A Study of Inayat Patti Village in Allahabad District in Uttar Pradesh, India. A revised version of the submitted M.Phil dissertation was presented as a conference paper titled “Nature and Consequences of Migration to Gulf Countries: A Study of Inayat Patti Village of India” at The Migration Conference, organized by Transnational Press, London at Harokopio University, Athens, Greece, August 23-26, 2017. This book is also based on a revised version submitted thesis titled “Cross-Border Migration: An Analysis of Migration from India to Gulf Countries by Processes and Consequences”. The findings of this book show that there is a socio-economic and cultural paradigm in the process of migration from India to Gulf countries based on its Islamic reflection with contradiction, discriminations and challenges in the context of globalization of Indian migration in the Gulf and its realities. Therefore, this book advocates the prism of migration through the lens of the colonial and post-colonial framework of Indian migration in the Gulf and its realities under the approach retrospective to the prospective manner of study in the framework of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030 of the United Nations.
