Johnny and Kiera Barlow are the gold standard when it comes to relationships. Together for eight years and married for half of them, it seems they’ve got it all figured out.

But Johnny and Kiera haven’t let their friends in on their secret.

The relationship that seems so perfect on the outside has been rocky at best for the last year. Now, they’re getting a divorce.

But there’s one thing they need to do before they share the news. They’ll stand up beside their closest friends as best man and matron of honor for a North Carolina beach wedding.

To keep up appearances, they’ll have no choice but to pretend everything is great between them.

Only Johnny and Kiera hadn’t expected that this trip would prove they both still crave the love they once had.

Second Chance at Love

Ava Erickson and Stephen Dexter did an incredible job as Kiera and Johnny! I love to hear Ava narrate and Stephen Dexter is new to me but I enjoyed hearing him especially paired up with Ava!

Wow, this one was absolutely amazing and really shows the struggle that many couples face after being married for any length of time.
In the beginning Johnny and Kiera had it all and were the envy of all of their friends. But as time past by they became comfortable in their marriage and didn’t go the extra length to make one another feel loved the way they did in the early years and it took a toll on each of them.
Kiera couldn’t take it anymore and finally just wanted to stop feeling so miserable and told Johnny she wanted a divorce. Johnny was shocked! He knew things had changed but he didn’t think they had gotten so bad but he was wrong.

Being the perfect couple in their friends’ eyes, they decided to hide the divorce from them until after the wedding of 2 of their best friends but this meant spending a week together acting as nothing was wrong and that they were happily in love.

Spending a week together allows them to see what they have been missing and makes them both wonder if they can get back what they once had. They both never stopped loving each other but can they pick up the pieces of their shattered marriage and put it back together after all this time?

This began as a heartbreak but does give us an HEA!!!

Best second chance romance!

Kierra and Johnny broke my heart and then put it back together. Their love for each other was undeniable, even at their lowest. This was a perfect story to remind us all that just because you got the HEA, doesn’t mean you get to keep it. If you want it you have to work for it. I’m so glad Johnny and Kierra didn’t give up in the end, and ended up even happier than before. The narrators were absolutely perfect for this story and characters.

Sweet second chance for this husband and wife!

Love all of the road trip stories not only feature a different state, but also a a different love story. None of them have been the same. Johnny and Kiera’s story let us remember how they fell in love and sadly how life got in the way making Kiera think divorce was the only option. The last week of their arrangement kept us wondering how things could be made right. I mean, I don’t think I could handle an A.K. Evans love story without a HEA!! Thankfully that second chance is grasped!

The narrators are fantastic as these two always are! They have wonderful voices and being such emotion to their characters.

So good!

Crave the Love was an exceptional story of a marriage in crisis. I loved Johnny and Kiera and how their relationship started, and like many things in life, couples get busy exploring their careers and living day to day, their self-care and relationship are on the back burner. From an outside point of view that are couple goals but the reality is they have divorce papers in their hands and are ready to sign after a friends wedding. Feelings come out and the small acts of showing love are done again and reunite their love for one another. A great listen and Ava Erickson and Stephen Dexter were excellent at portraying these characters and all the emotions. This absolutely took the top spot for me in this series.
