Beyond logic: Practical Critical Thinking in action

A valuable and worthwhile listen for anyone looking to sharpen their analytical skills. I particularly enjoyed the insightful section on decision-making, which offered practical frameworks and perspectives that I found immediately applicable. Also, I appreciated the depth regarding the importance of critical thinking in today's digital world. Easy to digest with several prompts for reflection, and exercises to deepen skills.

Guides to solving problems and changing viewpoints

As children, we probably don't remember much concrete training when we first learned to think. We had a desire, performed an action, and enjoyed the reward. But as adults there are numerous obstacles and pitfalls that can get in the way of making a truly good decision, and communicating it to others. In Critical Thinking 101, Taha Furqan lays out a number of practical scenarios and examples where applying just a few changes in your current mental processes can lead to a more productive and less stressful outcome. Like any skill, there is emphasis on repeating the practice, and continuing to improve. The lessons and methodologies presented are easy to grasp and use daily. As a narrator, Matt Francisco keeps the information flowing at a steady pace and digestible tone. [Disclosure: I received this title for free and listened at 1.7x]
