Publisher's summary

Critical thinking is a skill every person should possess. Sadly, it is all too common to follow the heard, to get stuck in old patterns or traditions, and to not see through the lies and deception of the world, whether intended or unintended.

Reasoning can be a dangerous place for those who do not have the power or will to think for themselves. Moreover, it requires a little bit of an intelligence level to do so, and a skeptical mind too. Nevertheless, no matter how you spin it, critical thinking is an important thing to learn more about.

In this guide, you will see that you will get that chance. Topics such as the following will be discussed:

  • The true meaning and definition of critical thinking.
  • The main benefits (something you need to know to see the importance of it).
  • What critical thinking traits include.
  • A brief historical overview of how this theory came to existence.
  • Two important concepts to understand: Deductive and inductive reasoning.
  • Ways to make better decisions.
  • Intuition and its role in making such decisions.
  • The differences between facts and presumptions, and how to recognize them.
  • Examples and theories on hypotheses and predictions of the future.
  • How to feel more inspired by using that big brain of yours.
  • General thoughts about people’s critical thinking skills.
  • Biases and contexts that require some heavy problem-solving skills.
  • How people use justifications and various arguments to back up their statements.

Obviously, the topics mentioned here will be expanded on in detail. You won’t be left in the dark when it comes to developing your cognitive mind and powers of analytical thinking. Your eyes will be opened.

So do yourself a favor and try out this audiobook. See if it can broaden your perspectives, and boost your logic, intelligence, and thinking patterns.

I have a healthy brain

Hey, I've got a smart gray matter here. The title is a little like that: Suggest it's only for smart people. But hey, even dummies can get something out of this book. It's a great book. I loved the information. Thanks.

Not so bad

This wasn't so bad. It was surprisingly good, actually. Logic and reason have been forgotten by too many.
