About this listen

Over the last several years, I have had more than one debate with other people as to whether animals - either domestic pets or in the wild - really have a soul. One thing I'm sure about is this: Our pets do possess the ability to exhibit true and unconditional love for their owners - without really asking for anything in return except for food and water and, of course, unconditional love, as well.

I guess I'm one of these people that looks into an animal's eyes and sees much more than just a cute little fluffy face. When I look into my own cat's eyes, for example, I see much more than the color of their eyes. I try to look way past yellow or green or blue. I look past their eyes. I try to look into, well, their soul.

I am hoping that this story will help us all to, once and for all, completely understand the mystery behind our pet's eyes - and beyond - and to realize just how lucky we've been to have them in our lives as long as we did before their journey beyond that Rainbow Bridge.

Please, join me on my journey. You won't regret it, I promise.

There was nothing new or revealing to me in this book, as I have believed everything the author puts forth for many, many years. Nonetheless, the memories of my many beloved cats who are waiting on the other side of the bridge kept my eyes filling throughout the narration. I'm even having trouble writing this review.

I don't know that this book is for everyone, but anyone who believes, as I do, that animals are eternal spirits will be comforted and perhaps made just a bit emotional by this story.

I heartily recommend it. It's a wonderful hour of solace and remembrance.

Couldn't see my monitor screen half the time.

Of course, as a cat mom, this story captured my heart just as me beloved cats (+ 1 dog.) I miss the ones who have left us all the time. This story is so comforting and will keep me looking forward to rejoining them one day. No one I meet when I pass will ever come close to seeing my Jesus, however, there will be much joy to seeing my four pawed "kids" again. Maybe He's arranging for my house to be close to theirs!

Reaches my heart

I just lost my female beagle back in July 2021. This book really did help me a lot. I highly recommend it for people who have lost her pets and I having a difficult time with it.

Great audio
