About this listen

Cinderella had a prince; Karyn Wallace has a King.

While Karyn served four years in prison for an unthinkable crime, she embraced salvation through the Crowns for Christ outreach ministry. After her release, Karyn stays strong and confident, despite the stigma society places on ex-offenders. Since Christ strengthens the underdog, Karyn refuses to sway away from the scripture, "He whom the Son has set free is free indeed."

Levi Tolliver, for the most part, is a practicing Christian. One contradiction is he doesn't believe in turning the other cheek. He's steadfast there is a price to pay for every sin committed, especially after the untimely death of his wife during a robbery. Then Karyn enters Levi's life. He is enthralled not only with her beauty but her sweet spirit until he learns about her incarceration. If Levi can accept that Christ paid Karyn's debt in full, then a treasure awaits him.

A True Love Story and Redemption

I was searching for a story with more christ-like emphasis. This one has just that, a story of one mother's mistake and how God forgiveness allows us to be as He has written and spoken. The story was relatable. The narrator wasn't bad, I thoroughly enjoyed this audible and would recommend it. I love how God ministers through such stories. I serve an awesome God!

Story of Redemption & Renewal

Loved it. Who the son sets free is free indeed. Wonderful story that reminds me of Romans 8:1-6. No condemnation as bad as the past mistakes one makes, thank God for his redemption & a second chance at life to have the life God promised; Life abundantly. Beautifully written, and narrated. A book to give one hope for a happy ending in their lifetime. Looking forward to the next book.

Beautiful Christian Love Story

This book is a perfect mix of trial, dispair, deliverance and love. It share some feelings vs that we all feel when we don't get everything right, no one understands and we need forgiveness. Its definitely a must read.

The narrator was bland

I liked the book, but the narrator had no life in her voice, which at times, made the book boring. I also wish the author would have given a little more human reactions to Karyn’s sin. The reactions were too fairytalish to make them believable. I loved the theme. All in all it was a very good book. This is my first book by this author and I plan to read a few more. Loved the characters. I especially enjoyed the addition of the scriptures and how they can apply to one’s life.

The emphasis in GOD'S forgiveness

I loved entire story except Jett. Although I understood her pain as I lost my sister she was a little over the top
