- "Los piojitos de la princesa": Una princesita que no tiene amigos, se escapa un día del palacio para jugar con unos niños pobres y descubre por primera vez en su vida lo que es la amistad. Pronto se dan cuenta de que ha desaparecido y tiene que volver al palacio, pero al bañarla descubren que no ha venido sola: ha traído en su pelo un piojo. La princesita no quiere permitir que se lo quiten ya que lo considera un regalo de sus amigos, por lo que el rey manda a su orfebre fabricar un piojo de oro, aunque no será suficiente para contentar a la princesa.
- "La grave enfermedad": Un niño tiene un grave problema que hace enfadar a sus padres y a sus abuelos: no es capaz de decir “por favor” ni “gracias”. Lo que le trae muchos problemas y quebraderos de cabeza, hasta que un día se escapa al bosque y un hada aparece en forma de cervatillo para ayudarle a superar su problema.
- "El pequeño lischen y la luna": Lischen es un niño pequeñito que no puede dormir por la luz de la luna, así que ésta decide ayudarle cubriéndose de nubes. Pero al tener una pesadilla en la que soñó que la luna desaparecía para siempre, la luna quiso consolarle construyéndole un camino de rayos para que llegase hasta ella, pero subir a la luna es más peligroso de lo que parece.
- "El gran espanto": Una noche, una niña y un pequeño ratoncito comparten habitación sin saberlo, y accidentalmente ambos se asustan el uno al otro sin motivo real.
- "La mirilla": Juanito y su madre son muy pobres, a él le encanta ser vaquero y cuidar de las vacas, pero por las noches se empeña en dormir cerca del tejado de la casa, donde hace mucho frío. El motivo es que en una de las paredes tiene una mirilla mágica que le hace viajar por las estrellas y sentirse el rey del sol.
- "Federiquillo el mentiroso": Federico es un niño muy hermoso y divertido, pero en todo el pueblo le conocen como “Federiquillo el Mentiroso”, ya que continuamente se inventa mentiras, y aunque le pillen él lo niega una y otra vez. Hasta que un día su madre, ya cansada de sus mentiras, le dice “ojalá que cada vez que mientas se te erice el pelo”, lo que no sabe el pobre Federico es que el deseo de su madre se cumplirá, y tendrá sus consecuencias que todo el mundo sepa cuando está mintiendo.
