But all my happiness vanishes in a heartbeat when the man from our past walks toward me, his eyes on me for just a fraction too long.

Story
It was 1970 in a defeated Rhode Island fishing town. Vietnam and Nixon dominated the national news. Both the near and distant future looked bleak. But they were five inseparable high school friends with something incredible in common: an unwavering resolve to look after each other no matter what hell life threw at them. And they were on a mission. The plan was simple: Go off the grid before they turned 18 to avoid the draft. They’d sell some grass, stack some cash, then head west and start a commune. What could possibly go wrong?

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

good
I'm not sure about the cozy part, because these villains were ruthless, greedy and unremorseful
killers.. It was interesting, but very selfish individuals. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator was good.

CULINARY COZY BOX SET
This is a great cozy mystery Boxset. I wasn't expecting it to be really great. I figured it would be ok and something to listen to, To pass some time away. I was wrong. I was one hundred percent wrapped up in this book from the beginning
There short stories but there written perfect. The right amount of everything. The storyline to each book was good and it was easy to follow and made sense. I definitely recommend this Boxset of you like cozy mysteries. Kathy Hunter did a great job writing these stories. Giselle Lumas did a great job narrating this book. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you.
