About this listen

Is your child’s ADHD a liability or a hidden asset waiting to be discovered?

Anna was a mother of three who had always believed that she had become an expert at raising disciplined and successful kids until her youngest, five-year-old Adam, made her question her parenting skills. Eventually, it all began to make sense when Adam was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder or ADHD. Despite being exhausted and overwhelmed, there was something that kept her going, it was the spark in Adam that only she could see. Anna was sure her son was much more than an ADHD child; he was gifted!

Does Anna’s story sound familiar to you?

If your child has been diagnosed with ADHD, chances are, the answer is a yes. ADHD is more common than we think, especially in children. And as difficult as we may believe it is for the child, it can be far more challenging for their parents. One of the primary reasons behind this is the lack of literature and resources to help them get through the journey.

Join me on this journey, where together, we will reconstruct our entire approach to ADHD in children.

In this audiobook you will discover how to:

  • Learn to develop a growth mindset while remaining focused on scientific facts and research.
  • Cope with the emotional and mental struggle that comes along with raising an ADHD child.
  • Walk you through the basics of ADHD, including its symptoms, diagnosis, and treatments.
  • Assist you in incorporating research-based strategies into your child’s daily routine at home to help them manage their ADHD symptoms.

Your child’s ADHD is not something you need to handle or suppress. In fact, it is a blessing in disguise.

This may sound farfetched, but believe me when I say this: your child’s ADHD is an asset, not a liability!

Unquie and informative book for kids with ADHD!

I was very impressed with this audiobook as it is clear that Adele has vast expertise in ADHD in children. I say this because her strategies are unique, original, and different from the genetic methods parents are told to follow. What makes this book special is it is aimed at helping your child utilize their ADHD to their advantage instead of treating it as bad and just managing it. I gained a lot of value from the chapters "ADHD is an asset, not a liability" and "Other types of treatments for ADHD" as I related to the methods and advice conveyed and will indeed be using what I have learned for my child. I also liked the three chapters on cultivating the asset's behavior at home, school, and internally, as I learned so many new ways to help my child get the most out of their condition for the better. Excellent book!

Perfect intro to ADHD

I work as a nanny and so there are a lot of things I need to look out for and am always trying to learn and keep an open mind about. I got this book with that in mind. It was a perfect summary, informing me what ADHD is (more in depth than what you'll get in a standard face to face conversation or brief internet search), and more importantly ways to help the child I could be working with. I really recommend this book to parents, teachers and caregivers alike.
