Not as Fundamental as It Should Be

If you're picking up this book or audiobook in the hopes of truly learning cybersecurity fundamentals, as the title states, you will undoubtedly be disappointed. It certainly does not start with the most basic information that somebody with only a passing knowledge of cybersecurity would understand. The author certainly should have taken several steps back and truly started at the beginning for those who want or need to know more about this very important topic. He throws around a lot of jargon and concepts with little explanation or preamble that, again, a rank beginner would be unlikely to know. Also, the author states he has a solid background in cybersecurity, but I never got the sense that any information in the book stemmed from personal knowledge or experience. Frankly, it felt as if AI, not a human, wrote it. Of course, I can't say whether that's true or not; that's just my impression of the book. If you're truly needing to learn about cybersecurity from the ground up, I recommend a book that will help you do so, not this one.

Generally informative information

Was looking for a refresher on the periphery of other topics outside my realm of insider risk management and Data Loss Prevention / Protection. I estimate that for every topic discussed, there was some 2-5 mins worth of suggested resources. Seemed kind of wasteful.
