A Cozy Sci-Fi Listen

It's my first time reading a Barwell Hollings book. Based on the genre, I was expecting it to be full of science jargon and gratuitous violence, but the story was pretty tame and easy to follow.

Though the narration is not performed by a human, I still found it enjoyable. It's a bit monotone, but that adds to the cyborg immersion. However, there are quite a few grammatical and spelling errors that stand out. For instance, the team is discussing the current threats, but it is read as the current "treats." Stuff like that made me laugh.

Will I be listening to more books by Hollings? It depends... Will my favorite character, Charlie, be in them?! 🐙
