About this listen

A hauntingly seductive tale of romance, secrets, and the evil that beckons.

Fog coils through the narrow streets of a desolate Maine town, carrying whispers of something long buried—something that should have stayed buried. When podcast host Amelia Ryan unearths the terrifying truth, she realizes the legends were never just stories. A vampire has awakened, and its hunger is only the beginning.
Then there’s Jude. A man wrapped in mystery, his presence both a warning and a temptation. He knows things—dark things—things no human should. When their paths collide, Amelia is dragged into a shadowy world of ancient horrors and eldritch secrets, where every truth she uncovers only leads her deeper into the abyss.
The hunt has begun. A monstrous evil stirs beyond the veil, and the doorway between worlds is breaking open. If Amelia and Jude fail to seal it, the darkness will consume everything. But in a world where monsters wear human faces and love tastes like ruin, the greatest danger may not be what lurks in the shadows—but the one standing beside her.
Dripping with gothic atmosphere, dark romance, and spine-tingling horror, DRAVEN, The First Vampire is perfect for fans of seductive nightmares, haunted legends, and the exquisite terror of the unknown.

The virtual voice ruined it the most. I have read young adult books before but this one unfortunately just did grab my attention. I forced myself through it hopeing it might. Others may disagree but Hard pass on this title.
