This book could potentially be Donald Goines's best, such detial and passion. It has gritty, crime and real streets, it also has characters Donald seemed to care a lot about. This could be Donald's best book, the ending however will make you angry.

Still Daddy Cool the character and story is a classic, 5 stars.

this narrator sounds as if he is sitting by a fire in a cardigan, this absolutely destroyed the grittyness of the story written by a Detroit street pimp. I was born and bred and read Donald Goines books as a kid this being 1. I am completely disappointed by the narrator of an urban classic.
