Love the community

I’ve been enjoying the books in this series very much. Ms. Hall has created a wonderful community amongst the Warriors and the ladies of earth. The storyline has adventure and just the right amount of struggle to make it a real page turner. I sometimes feel like the sex scenes get to be too much, like eating too much chocolate. But overall I can highly recommend this series. It’s an easy listen to while away a few hours.

Cora

Preseley brought reality of cancer to this storyline. It was done tastefully and still maintain the integrity of Kalixian romance. If these warriors were real, I would wish to be mated to one of them. I love this series. I can't wait for the next book.

Mixed feelings on this story, but would recommend

I think the word I would use to describe this book is cliché. It was very predictable and while still good and romantic in the right ways, I found it boring and lacking depth.

I think stories like this in HEA books are a tightrope walk for authors and I would almost prefer they just didn't bother. Disabilities, either by birth or accident, are viewed very differently depending on someone's life experiences/choices. There is a level of "fixing" what is, as the title implies, "Damaged" that I'm not keen on in this story. My preferences will likely not be the same for others, so as a continuation of the series and world building I think it is still a good book overall.

I love C.J. and Meg as narrators and hope they continue to be the voices of this series.
