About this listen

The first time Dimitri Castallanos experienced obsession, he committed a felony. He was five. Dimitri is a psychopath. And he’s still obsessed with just one person.

Arlo Miller was born a victim, raised as his father’s punching bag and his mother’s scapegoat. Dimitri was his only protection, and they took him away.

As children, they clung to each other. As adults, they pretend neither remembers, while both harbor secret crushes on the other. Dimitri hides his feelings behind a mask of indifference. Arlo hides his by falling for very bad men.

When one of those men confronts Dimitri, this time it's Arlo who commits a felony. Murder. But Dimitri won’t allow Arlo to take the fall. With the help of Dimitri’s mother and seven psychopaths, they now have twenty-four hours to fake an alibi, hide a body, and confess their true feelings for each other, once and for all.

Which is harder? Falling in love or getting away with murder?

Bravo!!👏👏

Awesome story and introduction to Dimitri. These Psychopaths are so entertaining. A short but packed full of story book. Onley James never disappoints. Liam DiCosimo is the perfect narrator for these books, his voice is magic and brings so much personality to each character. His voice draws you in and keeps you entertained and wanting so much more.🔥👏❤

Excited about this novella

I'm so glad that this novella got an audio!! I love this little insight into the greater Mulvaney universe. I love that we learn more about the surrounding goodness-adjacent in our morally dark gray fam. Liam DiCosimo is a sensational performer, as always!

Friends to Lovers

So short yet so sweet!! Arlo and Dimitri's relationship was exactly what I was expecting it to be in the most amazing, twisted, grossly, romantic way possible!

LOVED

Oh my god! This freaking series! Dimitri was a totally unexpected surprise but oh how I loved him and Arlo!
This was short, hot, funny and completely what I needed.
We also get to see another side to Calliope and better yet, more of our favorite assassins!
Absolutely loved it! Can’t wait for the next book!

My favorite duo

Onley James is my auto buy on Audible. I don't even think, I just hit buy. I freaking love her mind and writing. I honestly couldn't tell you how many times I've listen to this series. And when it comes to Ms James I know we get Liam, who is a master at his job. Gosh, I love his voices! His voice for Jericho, still my favorite 🔥 Sorry. I'm rambling. Onto this particular story. I loved being back into this world of hers. And fell in love with both the mmc. Dimitri's protection, obsession and yes the heat between them was perfect.
