About this listen

I'm the bassist in Molly Riot, one of the biggest bands in the Miami area, and I'm surrounded by female fans night and day.

I love the life I'm living. Hell, I wouldn't change it for the world. But, I have a confession to make...something inside me has been changing lately.

This isn't like me, but I'm falling hard for this chick, Sophie, the hot new bartender at my all-time favorite local dive bar.

Problem is, our drummer, Mark, has his eye on her as well. Normally this wouldn't matter, but there's just something about this girl that's different. I can tell already that I don't want this to be just another one-night stand.

I have to get to know her - all of her. There's no way in hell I'll share her, but it looks like Mark has a similar agenda, and it's creating a divide between us.

Could Sophie be the girl who spells the end of Molly Riot, or will Mark and I find a way to play nice?

Warning! This sizzling-hot rock star romance audiobook is intended for listeners age 18 and over. It contains mature situations and language that may be objectionable to some listeners.

Book 4

Any additional comments?

I listened to the audiobooks in this series. All characters have their own unique characters and hotness. Narrator also did a great job giving life to the characters.

Dan.... Molly Riot

Would you listen to Dan again? Why?

Yes I think I would, for the fact that I really enjoyed this whole series and DC Cole is one of my favourite narrators

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Wasn't a big fan of this storyline I`ll be honest. I didn't like the conflict amongst all the band mates, that great banter they all shared during the first 3 books was missing. In saying that Jade Allen`s writing is flawless, maybe more so in this book. So my comments are in no way a reflection on the writing, I just wanted them to joke around and mess with each other rather then avoid each other.

Have you listened to any of D. C. Cole’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Certainly have, in fact I have listened to all of them (you may in fact call me a DC fan girl, LOL) he did a great job once again, so great that I felt how p*%sed Dan was at Mark`s reaction towards him and the rest of the band.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Dan and Mark`s final conversation when attempting to clear the air, how Mark explained how he felt about everything.

Any additional comments?

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy by the author, narrator or publisher. Can`t wait for the next book in the series, Jade Allen no more conflict for my boys, lol

Fan of the series

Thought I posted this, but apparently didn't. I love this series. This book was quite different than the rest, though. What I found engaging was Mark. People who function or operate like "Mark" baffle me. He clearly is upset, but rather than communicate and tell people what's going on, he simply refuses to address it. At first, I was maybe skeptical of if I was going to like this one as much. But, then, I could totally relate in the sense that, I'm such an upfront person. And, I have no problem letting someone know what I think, how I feel, or if I don't like something. So, I find personalities like Mark's frustrating. I'm a true believer that communication is key. So, I could totally identify with the frustration and confusion when dealing with someone who clearly has a problem, yet refuses to just address it and spit it out. And, that was the position Dan was in, and the other band mates. So, it was interesting to see how it was going to play out.

And, of course, D. C. Cole is so good at capturing thoughts and emotions. So, you feel all of the different nuances of the varying feelings and reactions of each of the band members, but mostly Dan's confusion and reticence to deal with Mark before communication finally happens allowing for resolution to begin.

BASSIST -VS- DRUMMER, RIOT FOR THE GIRL

Any additional comments?

I was provided this audiobook through Audiobook Boom at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review.

Big fan of this series and "the book of Dan" has it all. The battle between Dan and Mark wasn't played out in depth and I think the book could have been longer playing into the dual battles of the band and of the girl. It ended rather abruptly without an epilogue of frosting over the cake. But all I really wanted to know was, "Does she like flowers?"

D.C. Cole did a fantastic job, as always, again and again. Such a sexy, unique voice.

Giving it two thumbs up, although they're stubby thumbs because it was too short!

💓 The Bad Boys of Molly Riot! 💓 Dan 💓

I enjoyed “The Bad Boys Of Molly Riot: Hard Rock Star Series, Books 1-3” and was looking forward to reading more and Jade Allen does not disappoint with Dan. It seems like Dan is the nicest of the band members, so far. This book has less angst than the first three, though it is not angst free, thanks to Mark. I am looking forward to the continuation of this story thru Mark and am hoping to hear more about the other band members as well. While each book can be read as a stand alone, I believe you get more out of their stories by reading them all in chronological order. And each one gets better as you go.

Dan

In this go-round, we have Dan, the bass player, workin' the rhythm section with tension between himself and the drummer over a girl. Bad news for band harmony, but will they survive it, and if so, is she worth it? This was an enjoyable listen and had the right amount of story for the length. (Not a 6-hour story rushed into 3 hours or a 1-hour story dragged out to 3 hours..just right.)

I LOVE DC Cole's voice. He just gets better and better every time I listen to him. He totally makes this series come to life.

My Two Pennies

The story of Dan and Sophie was a sweet one, I enjoyed it very much. Mark thrown into the mix gave me a little sadness mixed with curiosity as to what his story is about. Anyway back to this book, Dan & Sophie share is just so damn sweet in the beginning and as things develop more between them it gets steamy at times and I loved it, I was wearing yet another grin at times. Loving these Molly Riot Men. This is my voluntary and unbiased review

Dan & Sophie Rock!

What did you love best about Dan?

Dan was loyal, supportive, and very sexy!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Dan?

He remembered what was important to Sophie and tried his best to honor it. Same with his band mates. He fought to keep the band together and honor friendships.

What does D. C. Cole bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His voice is so smooth and hypnotic, and his inflections are so perfect you become totally lost in his performance. He is fast becoming a favorite narrator of mine!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Besides the hot scene at the stacks? whew, it was sexy! The other scene that moved me the most was when Dan and Mark work out their problems.

Any additional comments?

Dan and Sophie were great together and with such a short story it really left me wanting more. Especially more of Sophie, she started out so fun and interesting with her sassy banter and attitude. I can see why Dan and Mark both wanted her, I even had a girl crush on her! This book had more angst and not as funny as the last story, but it is still a quick, hot and sexy story that you don't want to miss.

The morale to the story is... Communication.

Any additional comments?

This is the fourth book in this series and was interesting.

Dan and Mark were sort of friends and neither had a girl friend until one day they meet

Sophie. .

It just so happens that hey both meet the same girl and both like her.

There was a little confusion and misunderstandings making it an overall interesting read.

D. C. Cole did well with the narration.
