Publisher's summary

Ian Maclean's arrogance hides a terrible secret - for decades he was held prisoner by demons. Not a day goes by that he isn't tormented by his darkest fears of powerlessness. Now he is about to sell to the highest bidder a page he's stolen from the Book of Power - if one woman doesn't stop him.

Slayer Samantha Rose's latest mission is to recover the stolen page - and get payback from the only man who's ever rejected her. What she hasn't counted on is the raging attraction between them - or her growing realization of what Maclean has survived. As the powers of the evil from his past gather, Sam will do anything to help him - even if it means following him into time and facing his worst nightmares with him.

Highland Hotties!

This was a great conclusion to the series but I am sorry to have it end. I enjoyed every book and this finale was terrific because all the characters from past books join forces to defeat their worst foe yet. Friends and families reunite and broken hearts and relationships are mended. Ian ended up being a great hero but his father Aidan will remain my favorite highlander of the Masters.

Not up to the previous books in the series

I found It hard to like this book. I didn't like Sam or Ein. This book was disappointing. Bad ending to a great series.

Dark Warriors

This was my favourite in this series. I liked that the male lead was helped by the female lead to overcome obstacles in the present day instead of the medieval times.

Better. But not by much.

Ian was a idiot for most of the book. Sam was okay. The reappearance the big bad (after he was killed in each of the other books in the series was aggravating & the narrator's male voices were still crap.

I really don't like the narrator.

I hesitate to say it again but it's such a shame that such good stories are read by a narrator that is so irritating. All her characters are portrayed well except the lead female. In all the books she has narrated, the lead always, ALWAYS has this stupid self-rightous, whiney tone that is soooooo annoying. It makes the character so one dimensional and they aren't. Each of the woman in these books has some depth and it gets lost in the attitude.

Other than the narrator, I really like these stories. The good/evil premise is a bit extreem and black and white but the people are interesting and it's well written.

I loved it! Listened & Read the entire series.

I am sooo sad to see the Masters of Time series come to an end. This was one of my favorites. Ian suffered so much but Sam stood right by his side. Such a moving and adventourous story. I enjoyed this narrator 5 stars to her also, she was part of he reason I pruchsed the entire series. (So disappointed with part 1 Dark Seduction-diffrent narrator And she was HORRIBLE!) (Not to happy when I realized it was NOT J Van Dyke). (Endured the torture to hear Malcolms story)
Jennifer Van Dyke made me feel like I was part of the story. Made me want to travel back in time meet a Mid-evil highlander and fall in love.

Horrible narrator

I couldn't stand the narrator, and it was so distracting that any interest in the book vanished. Read it instead of listening to it, and save yourself the irritation.

Good thing this was part of a 2 for 1 credit deal.

This title completely turned me off of anything else by Brenda Joyce. It was a typical "bodice ripper" written with a juvenile voice. The synopsis looked promising, but I did more than just a little bit of eye rolling as I suffered through the performance. The characters are one-dementional, and the situations the author puts them in are laughable. Fans of the paranormal romance genre shouldn't waste time (or good brain cells) on this blather.
