Good info but need more

Since you said you read these personally I wanted you to know that I found a lot of good information in this book and understand more of what’s happening and the motives behind. I would really liked to have had more info on how to deal other than “don’t loose your temper”. If it was that easy I wouldn’t have bought this book. I already know that but when things hurt so bad turns out it’s NOT that easy!! I was looking for more tools and idea to help me get through those times in the heat of the moment. Ways to calm, things to say to myself to talk myself down just more tips and tools to help myself. This was a good read and like I said I found it very helpful but I’m still sitting here wondering my how exactly am I supposed to do this…

Short and sweet

This is a short audio book that summarizes the physiological tactics people can use to manipulate and abuse others and how to identity and guard against them. This book is introductory. It doesn't provide a lot of details, examples of case studies. For a casual listener who is curious about the topic, I think it is sufficient. The narrator speaks clearly and has a nice voice, reminiscent of instructional voices we might hear in an airline safety video or a documentary. The tone is fittingly serious. I enjoyed listening to this audio book and learned a few things in a short amount of time.
