A gripping yet thought-provoking Action Thriller
Set in the not so distant future, Daughter of Mars follows Rave's journey. With drugs and weaponized AI threatening to take over the world, Rave, a value engineer turned vigilante sets out to combat the drug infestation all while setting her eyes on Mars, where she needs to go to dismantle and destroy her soon-to-be weaponized digital twin, from fear of it falling into the wrong hands. Alden Globe, fueled by personal grief writes a captivating Sci-Fi, emotional, and fast-paced action thriller that leaves the listener empathizing with Rave yet on edge with the action-packed scenes. Elizabeth Schmidt does a wonderful narration conveying Rave's feelings and emotions and setting the scene right for the listener to be engaged.

Frightening not so distant future
Alden Globe’s ‘Daughter of Mars’ propels readers into a gripping near-future landscape where the chaos of drug cartels meets the ominous rise of artificial intelligence. Which is frightening enough, as the situations described seem pretty likely to occur in the current times and that is why listeners will keep engaged in this story. In this third installment of the Maps Private Value Thrillers series, we follow Rave Maps, a value engineer turned reluctant vigilante, as she battles the escalating drug crisis and confronts personal tragedy. Rave sets her sights on Mars, where she hopes to destroy her own Digital Twin—an advanced AI that threatens to be weaponized. What sets Daughter of Mars apart is its compelling blend of fast-paced action and profound emotional depth. Rave’s journey is turbulent, as her inner conflicts are confronted by personal struggle and the moral implications of technology, mainly humanity’s evolving relationship with AI. Overall, this title is a thrilling and thought-provoking addition to the sci-fi genre, filled with action and moral dilemmas. The narrator Elizabeth Schmidt portrays Rave grief and fierce resilience with authenticity, building tension when needed. She makes it easy for listeners to stay invested in the story thanks to her dynamic voice and nuanced performance.
