Rather interesting insight into David Baldacci’s thought process when developing characters or plots. I’ve read several of his books and this interview has not only made me seek out new titles, but also to pull out copies of titles I’ve read to refresh my mind. On target. Very nice interview.

Good interview with interesting writer

My favorite line was write about things you are actually interested about, not because you are trying to escape the drudgery of your day job. I paraphrased a bit, but you get my point.

This is fantastic. I love Amos Decker. Loved hearing David Baldacci talk about his character and about his reading preferences. These Audible exclusive interviews are always so much fun.

I just listened to two interviews with David Baldacci -- fantastic. I've long enjoyed his books and can't believe I'd be inspired to read even more, but that's the case. Appreciate the insight into his finishing off some series and not writing for, as he calls it, "the payday." Hope he's able to continue with this philosophy. Can't say I loved the interviewers, both British and sounding so snobbish to my American English ear. 4/19/2019
