About this listen

Having been rescued from the forest, Elizabeth is shocked to find herself living with a small group of survivors. But when she's plunged into an unlikely reunion, she begins to realise that the task of saving humanity might require difficult decisions. Meanwhile, Thomas discovers the truth about another group of survivors. Old alliances are destroyed and new alliances are formed, but finally Thomas is forced to make a stand.

Days 54 to 61 is the fifth book in the Mass Extinction Event series, continuing the story of a worldwide apocalypse seen from the eyes of two very different people in two very different parts of the US.

Weird

Clearly this was not written by an American since the phrases are clearly British. The author seems very unfamiliar with weapons and honestly how far things are apart the characters are ok but…“ spoiler alert” no real ending it just stops.

confused

There are several threads in this storyline that seem to be broken. This had me so confused I went back and listened to the previous book to make sure I had heard it correctly. Now the store just stops. is there another book? not sure I care enough to find out.

Excellent writing for a 6th grader.

I've only read less believable, blatantly stupid characters in the Bible, so that's impressive. There's not a single likeable character in this series and one ends up hoping the main characters (Elizabeth and Thomas) are soon killed. Evidently im a masochist, I listened to all 4 books, being a truck driver I have lots of time to kill while driving, unless you're also a masochist I would avoid this series. I can only guess that the high rating this series had is due to all the authors middle school classmates coming over and giving it high marks....
