About this listen

Seventeen years after the events in Under Your Scars, Caroline makes her yearly visit to Meridian City and is taken on a heartbreaking and bittersweet journey that gives her something she's been searching for her entire life: closure.

This is a sequel novella to Under Your Scars: A Dark Romance Novel, and the series must be enjoyed in order.

Closure

I’m glad we got this addition. I’ve been waiting since I listen to under your scars for this. The previous book made me sob. This one made me grieve a bit. Good listen 🥹

Amazing redemption

Under Your Scars shattered my entire soul and left a huge void that cannot be filled. Hearing the end authors note broke my heart even more for Ariel.
This book was the perfect ending for Caroline. Thank you for giving her the HEA that she deserved 🖤

Closure

I am so glad that Ariel did a novella to this series. I was happy to see how Caroline faired after what happened to her at the age of 4. The ending of Under You Scars never said, but you just kind of assumed what would happen to her. I love the closure this book brings to the whole series.

I needed this ending.

Under your scars broke me, and helped me push through my own struggles. She deserved a happy ending, they all did, but I needed this so much.

Closure

I’m glad Caroline ends up okay. This story has demolished a giant void in my soul but this was a nice closing on Caroline. The legacy carries on 🖤

I have too many feelings right now

EMOTIONAL DAMAGE

I waited for the audio. And it was like someone took my heart and dropped it into a bucket of boiling tears... and at the same time, somebody else is hitting my soul in the crotch with a frozen sledgehammer... and then a third guy walks in and starts punching me in the grief bone. (Iykyk)
Once again, Lee Daniels and Joe Arden were phenomenal. Lee Daniels got me like, having feels I haven't felt in a long time.

When I finished Under Your Scars, I had stayed up until 3am to finish and then I just stared at the wall because I didn't know what to do. Now, I'm like, sitting here all flustered with feelings and my cat jumped on my lap because I think he can tell I'm upset. I wish I was a crier because I'd probably feel better.

The bunny. That was the one. And pancakes. Jesus the heart in my chest cracked in pieces and it hurts. Physically hurts.

I'm glad this book is out there. It is a sense of peace and closure. But it also proves that the pain never goes away and the heart doesn't really heal.
