Very useful information
I have a good buddy of mine who has been diagnosed with the early signs of dementia, and in the last couple of years, it is starting to show the early effects of it. I am going to introduce his book to his wife, to help her and the rest of his family understand how to deal with it. Dementia is extremely tough for everyone involved, as it tugs on the emotional heartstrings of family and friends. and this book breaks down the process, symptoms, diagnosis, and actions a wife/caretaker will need in order to help someone with dementia. This book gives examples of what to say and do in certain situations that arise and it reminds the listener to also take in one's personal health as well. I am sure his wife will benefit greatly from the great advice this book has to offer.

Good book about a tough subject!
This book really brings to life what to expect caring for someone with dementia. It’s really easy to think it’s pretty straightforward until you realize it’s not. It felt like an accurate, well researched portrayal of dementia and speaks about so many different kinds of therapies and medications that can be used! It’s not trying to sell one thing, it’s trying to educate about all things so you can make the best choice
